Developed and nurtured strategic collaborations with purpose-aligned brands and platforms to extend the brand’s reach and impact. Much of this work happens before events, identifying and connecting with key stakeholders, booking meetings, and cultivating goodwill with event organisers. Building trust and rapport over time is essential to gaining access to exclusive industry networks, securing invitations to inner circles, and earning a seat at high-level discussions around sustainable fashion innovation and leadership.
Leadership in Practice
My leadership is grounded in project ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and clear communication. While working remotely from the UK, I managed a global customer-relations team based in Kenya, developing systems for client onboarding, project management, and tracking and led complex creative projects from vision to execution.I led collaboration across freelance creatives and internal teams in Kenya and the UK, while supporting international clients in the US, Australia, and Europe, driving creative alignment, guiding innovation, and maintaining momentum across time zones and cultures.
Drawing on extensive leadership and coaching experience from education alongside five years in the fashion industry, I apply a values-driven style that empowers others and creates space for innovation. I believe in providing a clear vision of both the destination and the path to get there, creating a culture built on trust, adaptability, and shared responsibility.
